A word about the ‘Depression’ comic: This originally began as a self portrait describing my life when the kids were young and I was broke and had embarked on my mid-life crisis which developed into what I realised later was clinical depression of a fairly mild kind– that is to say, NOT bi-polar or manic depression. I thought that the strip could be helpful to other sufferers of depression as well as being useful therapy for myself.
